Donate to the toy drive by Dec. 15 so it's ready when Santa makes his grand entrance on Dec. 19 —and yes, he's arriving in style on Holly the Jolly Trolley! Holly and the big guy will roll up bursting with cheer, ready to bring joy and gifts to every kiddo at Star of Hope.  Want to volunteer? We'd love your help sprinkling a little extra cheer! We need merry elves for wrapping gifts, prepping for delivery, and handing out presents on the big day.  Hop over to the volunteer page for details.

What a visit from Holly does for a family

I was working the night shift at Metro when The Jolly Trolley came to visit my son’s nighttime daycare. I didn’t get to see it myself, but the next morning, my 3-year-old couldn’t stop talking about ‘the big red trolley’ and how he got to jump, spin, and play like a superhero. It was the first thing he told me when I walked through the door.

The staff said he laughed the whole time and even made a new friend during the story circle. As a single mom working long nights, I often worry about what my child is missing out on, but that night, he got to just be a happy little boy. I cried hearing about it.

The Jolly Trolley gave him a moment of magic, and gave me the comfort of knowing he was seen, cared for, and celebrated, even while I couldn’t be there myself.

Please keep this program going. Kids like mine, and parents like me, need it more than you know.
