About the Foundation

The Jolly Trolley Foundation brings joy, movement, and literacy directly to children in underserved communities across Houston. Our colorful mobile gym travels to community centers, women’s shelters, foster group homes, and government-sponsored childcare facilities.

During each visit, children participate in educational sessions that combine the power of sport and the magic of reading. Our movement-based activities build motor development, balance, coordination, and resilience, while story time fosters a love of books, strengthens vocabulary, and inspires imagination. Together, these sessions nurture both body and mind, giving children the confidence, skills, and joy they need to thrive.

We believe every child deserves safe, engaging opportunities to move, learn, and dream big. With the support of our donors, partners, and volunteers, The Jolly Trolley Foundation continues to bring smiles and sweet dreams into the hearts of thousands of children each year.

The Jolly Trolley program caters to the developmental needs of children aged 2 to 8 years. Participants take part in interactive sessions focused on fitness, motor development skills, and early literacy through books and storytelling, all within an environment that also supports their social and emotional growth.
