About the Foundation

The Jolly Trolley Foundation brings joy, movement, and a whole lot of magic straight to children in underserved communities across Houston. 

Holly, The Jolly Trolley, our colorful mobile gym on wheels, rolls into community centers, women's shelters, foster group homes, and childcare facilities to spark smiles, wiggles, and wonder wherever she goes. Every visit blends the power of play with the magic of story. 

Kids leap, stretch, balance, and giggle through movement games, then settle in for story time that grows confidence, boosts vocabulary, and lights up their imaginations. It's a whole-body experience that helps little ones feel strong, safe, seen, and inspired.

We believe every child deserves a space to move freely, learn joyfully, and dream boldly. Thanks to our generous donors, partners, and volunteers, The Jolly Trolley Foundation brings comfort, connection, and a ray of sunshine to hundreds of Houston children each month.

We have two programs, Lullaby Lane for evening visits and Star of Hope which is our 

daytime program visiting Houston's longest running homeless shelter. Each program blends gentle movement, music, imagination, and cozy story time led by our trauma-trained coaches. Every child who climbs aboard gets a nurturing, predictable space to unwind, feel safe, build confidence, and experience a little magic.
