Bringing a ray of sunshine to Houston's little ones who need it most

 Holly, The Jolly Trolley is a mobile gym and happening hang out for kids from 2 to 8 years old. Holly helps happy, hyper, hollering kids have a heck of a good time on her tremendous, tumbling, tossing, traveling trolley. 

Aboard the trolley, kids wiggle, wobble, tumble, twist, leap, laugh, and listen as our trauma-trained coaches guide them through a whirlwind of movement games and magical story time adventures.

 Holly the Jolly Trolley brings comfort, connection, and a spark of wonder to children in women's shelters, foster group homes, community centers, and the historic Star of Hope shelter. Whether she's rolling in for a calming Lullaby Lane evening visit or a joyful daytime Star of Hope session, each program blends gentle movement, music, imagination, and cozy story time led by our trauma-trained coaches. Every child who climbs aboard gets a nurturing, predictable space to unwind, feel safe, build confidence, and experience a little magic.

 We're always grateful for helping hands to bring a little extra magic to the children we serve. Our special events across Houston are simple, “done-in-a-day” opportunities where volunteers can jump in, spread joy, and make a meaningful impact in just a few hours.
